Oh, good, I'm not the only one. I don't know when exactly it hit me, but by the end of the leg, I was just tired of them. Him a bit more than her, but only a bit.
Thank you! That and the "it's an emergency, look at my prosthesis..." totally irks me.

I loved how he stressed in their video that he'd like to see Sarah be the first PHYSICALLY disabled person to win TAR. Hee! Does he know something about either Tyler or BJ that we don't?
This team is one of my faves pre-race. Are they romantically involved? "Friends"?

Sarah was just profiled on a short segment on the Weather Channel. Apparently the first time she did the Iron Man Triathalon, the weather got in the way of her completing the race, and so then she trained in all kinds of weather, and completed the race the following year.
She looks like an extremely tough woman! I can't wait to see how this team does.

And with the huge influx of athletic young amputees thanks to our current war, I'd really like to see Sarah kick some serious butt. There's a lot of young men and woman learning to deal with life as an amputee who can hopefully be inspired by her.
As as someone who has never, ever been athletic, to see her do it with the kind of uphill battle she's had is even more impressive.

For some reason I have a funny feeling about this team. I doubt they are dating for one thing. He seems way to asexual.

Not to stalk you all over the boards, brb, but I had the exact same reaction!!! I was on the phone with a friend, and I was all "Maybe it's the Tony Robbins-style motivational speakerness of him, but that guy is completely asexual. No way they're getting down."
Same sentiment, just slightly more crassly put by me. ;)

At some points, it seemed like he was talking to her like a particularly obedient golden retriever. And she just seems so...smug that I'm developing this irrational need to want to see her fail.

Yeah, he's her doctor, coach, therapist, and motivationalist, but bf? I don't think so. If so, not for long, I'm sure.
