My ideal leg. Fran and Barry in first and the hippies not out! Now all I need is the frat boys to be gone.

Watched the last 1/2 hour but Phil's double eyebrow raise at Frankenberry winning (!!!) the leg: was it supposed to say "What, you won?" or "What, you're still alive? In this heat?!"

And I LOVED the fact that what they were digging for was dinner.

That's was quite an exciting episode. The Hippies and the Frat Boys bringing up the rear, while Fran and Barry are leading -- who'd have thought? Ray and Yolanda need to get their shit together quickly, or they'll soon be bickering in Sequesterville.

When the teams were running up to the watchtower I said "are those goats" and my son said "it's David & Jeff!" LOL!

My boys are still in it! Yay!

And yeah, the fact that they dug for their dinner was cool.

Ray and Yolanda have to pull it together to stay in it; they're not that good (or special -- what a snooze of a team).

YAY Fran and Barry!!!

Interesting how the tables turned this week, with the bottom dwellers up at the front, and the usual winners duking it out for last place.

I was REALLY hoping the Fratboys would meet their end tonight.

Question...did my ears fail me, or did Phil NOT tell the Hippies they wouldn't receive any money on the next leg? I don't remember him saying that. Have they eliminated the begging?

Philly-style told them tht they wouldn't start with money. (Did anyone notice Phil's TV-MA rated pants? I did. My brother yelled, "EEEEEEWWWWW!")

No, he definitely said they would get no money.

I loved BJ & Tyler's imitations in the bus. Those two have really grown on me.

I'm ignoring the whiny winners. Why are they still there?

Thanks for clearing that up.

Now, how interesting will it be to see two Americans begging for money in Oman?? In this present political climate, that has all sorts of interesting implications...

Interesting. I half convinced myself that they had no NELs this time around.

I picture Miss Alli throwing things at her TV during the ending and I laugh.

Man, no one's getting along very well with their partner at this point. Except maybe Fran and Barry. Actually, the Frats don't really care enough about each other to bicker.

This season is all about random searches and random musical interludes. And sometimes random musical interludes during random searches.

I loved BJ & Tyler's imitations in the bus.

Agreed. Sometimes they try too hard to be wacky, but that was great.

I'm telling you, they need to find reasons to play the Nerd Music at least once during every future episode of TAR. EVER.
