Boy, did that feel great or what! TAR is back in Yellow and "Red" and it felt like I was at the finale. Great stuff, good times.

Can't stand Lisa/Joni, but I'm glad they beat John/Scott. After the Godlewskis'.

Loving the Double Dees, Monica, and Desiree. Especially the Double Dees. However, I really don't care for Lake/Michelle, but meh on BJ/Tyler, but they're great racers so far.

Even though Scott is my daughter's friend, I wasn't sad to see that team go, because John was working my last nerve. And to Texas Gals and Lake and Michelle: please follow them soon, because you are just as irritating, if not more so. On the positive side, David and Lori rock -- she has an awesome smile and they have a great attitude. I liked the use of the urban environment of Sao Paolo. And, of course, there was Phil.

The Glamazons were by far the most annoying of the bunch. Too bad they survived.

Lake actually did help the older couple, which suprised me. It wasn't enough, but they weren't going to do the entire task for them. I hope the old couple don't hold it against them. Lake was less annoying than I thought.

Double D's are the biggest non-entities out there. As eye candy they pale in comparison to what's being offered on Survivor right now.

Everyone else I don't mind right now. I think the hispanic Momily (Momicita?) are my favorite at this point.

Ooooh, I'm loving that I get to watch a new race! I loved every minute of it!! :)

So far, I really like the nerds. Lake is giving me flashbacks of Ray(and Deana)

ps..Hellooooooo Phil! ;)

My heart was literally pounding as the race started. How sweet to have OUR race back!!

I really like the nerds, and Desiree. If mom can calm down, I think they could actually contend. I think the slacker boys are going to end up working my last nerve but for now they're just eh.

And Lisa and Joni can leave now, thanks.

So! Happy! My show is back, baybee!

I am apparently the only person wildly amused by the Glamazons. Ah, well. Honestly, there were very few people that even got on my nerves, and one of them got bounced tonight. After the bridge issue and the scene in the motorcycle repair shop, I would have been fine seeing the old couple depart as well. But unless/until Lake revs into full bore assmunch mode, I got no trouble with anybody.

Wow, wow, wow...LOTS of eyebrow popping goodness!! Thank you Phil!

My heart is still racing. Phshew, I thought Ray and Yolanda were goners there for a few minutes. I was literally holding my breath when that man tried to start the bike. Total props to Ray for keeping his cool and keeping his mind on the task as those pervs ogled his wife.

Ray and Yolanda are definitely one of my favorite teams right now. Phil is right - her legs are AMAZING.

I also like David and Lori. I think they are adorable. Lots of love for "Wander" and Desiree, too. I called them "Spicy Momily".

Very favorite part of the ep -
Lake: Lake, like the ocean.
Ray: Ray, like the sun.
I've laughed about that for two hours.

Ah Phil and your cozy turtleneck. How I missed you! (muah) Unfortunately, it seemed that you injured your eyebrow after last season's pop where you were calling out to alien overloads. Let me kiss that better...after you calm down over Yolanda's legs. (The swooning almost embarassing, to the point of being funny.)

I had such high hopes for Fran and Barry, but missing the box THAT many times (and no Fran, it didn't just appear out of nowhere) and not bailing on the Detour sooner almost cost them. I certainly hope they learned from that leg.

As for the Frosties...."EEEEEE!" "EEEEEEE!" "I PEED IN MY PANTS!" We have passed the point of TMI and have landed on "ew."

It must be a good day because I called title and first place for Whimsy (Go me!) What did I not call: "What do we get, Philly?" Philly?! Oh HELL to the NAW! You may address him as Phil, Phliminator, Eyebrow Porn Guy or for some women here, some incoherent gushy babbling. But Philly? You move to the hate group.

Lake=Scott Peterson. BEST. NICKNAME. EVER.

As much as I could wish to feel some sympathy for John and Scott, I really can't. John is too whiny and two hours alone gave me a headache. That said, I would have them back to avoid more "EEEEEE!" When you scare the host, you scare me.

I may have more later but ladies and gentlemen, our show is back. Can I get an Amen?

What an incredible premier. two months, TWO MONTHS, we've waited and waited, and it finally came.

Everyone is awesome this race.
Meh on Eric & Jeremy, but whatever, they've got a shot at being Rob/Brennan

BJ & Tyler were not as bad as I thought they would be, simply good racers, I'll enjoy having them around.

Momicita all the way. I see them top 3 (not getting hopes up to high though...memories of Debbie/Bianca). Might I also add that Wanda is the newest victim of Phil's "er" ("Wander and Desiree..")

Dave & Lori struck several good chords with me, they are sweet and just good ol' fashioned.

I did get a Jonathan/Denny Rogers vibe from Lake, but not as bad as it could have been, certainly not at the level of hollywood boy Jonathan. I'll look forward to see how they do.

Joseph & Monica are cool

I have an aunt in Chicago named Yolanda...but she's not as awesome as this Chicagoan Yolanda. Hot and sassy, the way she handles herself reminds me of my cousin once removed.

The first half hour or so I wasn't liking Franberry, but they really grew on me as they struggled to find those route markers (Gretchen is watching over...)

Double D...well, other ditzy teams have started the race in 9th place (Megan/Heidi, Kwins), I'm hoping they go far

The Glamazons are awesome, go Gutsy Grannies-to-be!

They were ok to get to know, but I dunno if I could have stood JOhn for one more leg. If Scott had taken more control they probably might not have been eliminated, but anyways they were my preferable first choice, so I'm right on track.

This season is going to rock!

I would, but I don't think it would make a difference. Jesus is busy making sure the Frosties don't lose.

Man, that felt good. A shame we had to lose the gay so early, but of all the teams, they were the only ones that I never really warmed to. Everyone else I actually really liked, even the Double D's, which I totally didn't expect.

I can't believe they didn't do the "find a clue for a scheduled departure time" thing like every season before. I kept waiting for it. Kinda glad they mixed it up. Is this the first time the entire first leg took place in one day after arriving at the first destination?

Loved it. Loved every minute of it.

Amen! They did a nice job with the leg. Seemingly fewer tasks, no roadblock (seen), and no multi-day opening. It seemed to go a lot more quickly. I thought it was cute how Double D dissed Jeremy & Eric. No clear favorites yet, but I was rooting for Lisa & Joni to go - maybe they'll grow on me if I ever get used to the shrieks.
