It looked to me that even she was saddened by their Philimination. Maybe I'm getting that due to the fact that she wasn't so upset this week, but she was visibly emotional with Dave/Mary being gone. Not as much as Lyn, though.
As for the car deal and D/K taking it, I thought for a little bit that they'd get in trouble, but quickly realized also that it didn't matter.

Newly joined, newly separated...they did say it wouldn't last.
(I'm just glad I don't have to sleep on those mattresses.)

I know others were ready for them to go, but I was hoping against hope David and Mary would somehow make it. But their exit speeches were the best I've ever heard on the Race and EXACTLY why I think the Race is so special. I wish I could show that to people who aren't fans yet as an example of how it may be a reality show and a game show of sorts, but it's also a wonderful, broadening, life-changing experience. Good for you, Mary and David!
In other news, Dustin and Kandice have used up all the good will I had for them. They seem to be exposing themselves more and more as stereotypical snotty beauty queens.
Did we notice Lyn was driving with her hazards on?
Loved Mary being excited about going to Madagascar because of the movie lol.
Intersection was sorta meh. Better than a yield, but I dunno...not that thrilling.

Love when the FF team doesn't come in first. Brilliant!

I think Phil was tearing up at the elimination. Has that happened since Charla and Mirna? LOVED the exit speeches.
ETA: Phil is recieving a virtual gift from me; The Original Protective Honeymoon Photograph. Whenever Phil finds himself falling victim to beauty queen (and other racers) hugging and kissing him, he can hold up the Photograph, which will generate a protective shield as well as a hologram of his wife to discourage any further assault.

Eeew. I when it showed Rob and Kimberly kissing after they finished the FF, I wondered what cow lip breath smells like.
Madagascar looks beautiful. Great roadblock task, too. I was bummed there weren't any tasks involving lemurs, though.

A little devious of the BQ's to take another car, but there was no rule stating they had to take the same car. Give them credit to them for finishing ahead of the FF.
And they worked well with the Cho's.
Sad to see Dave & Mary go. They were very gracious. Lyn was quite gracious. But did anyone notice that Karlyn had that smug look on her face, showing no emotion? I have to look at my DVD again, but I'm pretty sure Karlyn was just standing there staring into space. Nice touch by Lyn wearing Dave's hat in the next leg.

Did anyone hear the comment from Alabama in the taxi when she ran out of gas. She was complaining about the driver and dishing him about not having gas. But obviously most taxis didn't keep their cabs full.
It would have been really interesting if the Chos would have come in second and beat the two fast forward teams. Both of the fast forward teams were pretty smug that they had a big lead.
Loved Mary's comment about her home but also about having her kids see more of the world than she had.
