Which is why I liked him, I think. I thought he was a sweet guy who was wound too tight, but I think it's understandable to be wound too tight in TAR where 1 mil is on the line and you are constantly being tested.
The guys I don't like are the ones who aren't sweet underneath and make no effort to control themselves.
Reichen & Chip
More than half way through Season 4 over here now and to be quite honest I really quite dislike Chip and Reichen :S. They just seem so......serious and Chip seems pretty aggressive. Yeah haven't warmed to them at all

Reichen is still the biggest famewhore out of this show and that includes all of season 6.
At least Chip contributes a lot to the racers' blog. But they are the only win well I didn't really care. No level of YAAAAY! or HAAAAATE! Just...eh.

I liked Chip a lot during the season - and by his deeds since the race, I think he has confirmed my read on him as a gentlemanly patrician whose sharp business mind simply went a little overboard in the competitive atmosphere of racing. He had by far the most entertaining moments of the team, and can hold his head up high as one of the better racers.
As for Reichen - I didn't take to him to start with, and never really warmed to him as the season progressed. His subsequent famewhoring is ridiculous, but I think he has a good heart and means no real harm. But that strange waxy skin, sense of entitlement, monotone voice and somewhat artificial presence don't make the last half of TAR4 any easier to get through.

Heh. For me it's the other way around - I liked 3rdReichen the first time, and hated Chimp.
But I agree, he is perhaps the worst famewhore to come out of reality TV - except for maybe Rahb and Lambuh.

chip on BRAVO's Top Chef?
There was a guy on the judging panel on Top Chef this week(season 3 episode 4) that resembled Chip. Does anyone know if he's a foodie?

It was definitely Chip. And he must be some sort of foodie, because he was wearing one of those sashes with the medals all over it. I wonder what they have to do to earn those things? And do they have pin trading stations at fancy restaurants like they have at Disney World?
Jokes aside, he must know what he's talking about when it comes to food, because he was seated directly next to the head judge, Tom Colicchio. :)

I love foodies, there is something about the passion of a chef.Sadly, they usually have more respect and love for food than the people they are around though.

Re: Reichen & Chip
For those who need something to do while in NY during Tarcon, starting in May, Reichen is going to be off-Broadway in My Big Gay Italian Wedding.

In other Reichen news. I think Tom and Lorenzo probably have the best description "A fucking trainwreck of epic proportions".
