When these guys agreed to write for us this season, I knew their stuff was going to be great. Keep up the good work, guys!

A chocolate bar to Miri for the compliment. Thanks for reading. We're trying real hard to keep in mind how we felt when we read about our race. But, it's just so damn hard with the spawn and her lackey. We'll miss them if only for the easy commentary.

Yea, thanks for the compliment. We're trying to avoid be too abrasive, but sometimes...

Chickens! ;)

(I can say that because I already ate the chocolate bar.)

Oh, heck. Embrace your "abrasive" side. See how well it's working for Lance??

Um, nevermind.

Loving the commentary, guys.

Not really. We are just trying to be respectful as we have walked in their shoes. Ian set the tone on how we did NOT want our recaps to be. His were vindictive and just plain mean. We know that we will want to meet these guys at Tarcon and would like to look them in the face and not at our shoes. I expect some of the #5 racers even have already ventured over to this great site and are reading this now. Hi Linda and Karen! And we sincerly hope they realize no malace is intended.

I can add another current racer who has read and already has it out for Tribefan. Heh.

And yeah, I just couldn't resist. I read the Sucks board every now and then and remember how Dave (I believe) said that he felt he owed some reality TV people an apology after having the shoe on the other foot. That's why I really love hearing the racers side of things. You can't ever completely understand what racers on a different season are going through - different tasks, countries, competitors - but you definitely have more insight than us "little people" (as Debra calls us).

(BTW, I'm watching the TAR4 Emmy DVD right now...good stuff, good stuff.)

Your recaps manage to pick on people for their racing without attacking them as human beings, which I trust is your goal. (Except for the spawn and her lackey, of course, but hey, you'd have to work hard to say anything about them worse than what they've already said about each other!) So keep up the good work, and keep finding the ridiculous rating systems -- tires? Cheeseburgers?

These are even fun to edit now that they're in a type size I can read.

Oh, I certainly hope the #5 racers have found us. (Linda and Karen, if you're out there, I'm taking very good care of you in the weekly Team Reports.) I'm kind of hoping Bob & Joyce are coming here. Specifically, they should read the next fashion report, which isn't yet complete but which should make them feel good about themselves.

Yes, I hope Bob & Joyce come to visit. I think you guys are doing a great job and giving me hope that maybe I'm really not too old for the race yet!

That's exactly what we try to do. As Steve said, we were once in their shoes, so we know what it's like when "reviewers" are petty and vindictive just because they can be. Steve and I always appreciated someone who could be funny when pointing out what they thought we did wrong. We're just trying to do the same...point out what they're doing wrong, that is. To heck with the funny part!

BTW - You should see some of our "rejects" for pictures/ratings. If we get desperate, they might make their way out of the rejects pile!

Well, please do feel free to be as vindictive as you'd like where the Pizza Putzes are concerned. There's just something about those two that takes the joy out of the room, you know?

I'm giving them the benifit of the doubt for now. Methinks the Emmy award winning editors are looking for another "bad" team now that the spawn has left, and have selected these guys. I'm hoping their comments have had the punchlines removed.

Christie is from Texas. I know that because I read her ass.

Ok, this amused me WAAAAAAAAAY more then it should have! I need to stop reading these things at work, it's getting too difficult to convince my boss that mortgage papers make me spontaneously burst out laughing.

The Amazing Editors can't make up what's not there. And I sure don't get any sense of missing punch lines from these guys. But I have to admit that the rapid increase in my unreasoning hate for them is surprising even me, so I'm probably not the one to ask.
