This episode was a little boring. The Frat bros are truly retarded IMHO--spoiled boys who have never had to work for anything in their life. Probably the first season where I don't really hate any teams, nor do I love any of the teams. Hard to believe there are only 6 teams left.

Yeah, I also agree that this was a rather dull episode, probably in part due to the gazillion times that the race has gone to India. I think tonight's episode really highlights how weak Dandrew (nickname officially given to Dan/Andrew by Kelly/Christy) is as a team on this race. I'd be shocked if they didn't get eliminated next week. Clearly the weakest link in my opinion.

Just something random i picked up from the CBS episode video clips. Sarah has bought a travel guide book for Australia and one for Cambodia. I wondered if it ever came to her senses that she could have used the time there at the travel agency in Cambodia to print out relevant information off the Internet about New Delhi, India. That'd probably save them a fortune instead of buying an overpriced travel guide from the airport. For Terrence's sake, I sure hope they didn't. (They mentioned that the Cambodia travel guide costs roughly about $40 USD).

Regarding tonight's episode, Ken(ny) and Tina were very fortunate that the cab driver actually waited for them (looked like the roadblock challenge took at least 2 hours to complete). Did anyone pick up the fact that when they left the cab for the roadblock, they didn't bother grabbing their backpacks? So i guess this makes up for their terrible luck with cab drivers tonight... lastly I wanted to point out how foolish it was for them not to take another cab driver on their way to the Hotel (after completion of roadblock), knowing fully well that the same cab driver screwed them over once already.

Kinda pulling for Nick/Starr now. Of all the teams remaining, they arguably have the best balance and chemistry as a cohesive unit. And it doesn't hurt that Starr is a hottie either.

In the beginning I was rather annoyed by Nick & Star, but they seem to keep their opinions to themselves and run the race. A rather smart move when it comes to racing, but it doesn't make for good TV. They have to be a front runner for this race.

I think I'll be disappointed if anyone but Nick & Starr win, and only really upset if the divorcees win. I didn't much care for Dallas last night...now that we're hearing him talk more, pretty much everything he says sounds a little dopey. And I cringed a little when he told the greeter "you've got fire on your head-that's insane!". Even if he meant it like "That's Amazing!", I think the greeter is going to hear "that's insane!" and how do we know that's not part of her religion or something?

But the episode was a good one, even if 2 of the 3 tasks were a little mundane. I think it was a pretty obvious NEL though - I think they need to shake up the formula a little bit.

Horrible episode--"paint my car and iron my clothes"? That's why they flew halfway around the world? Meh.

And that 1/2 hour penalty really mattered when all the teams were on the same plane anyway...not to mention I intensely dislike non-elim stages; I wish they'd get rid of them.

Sarah and Ken should dump their partners and form a team together. This way Tina and Terrance can criticize each other and leave everyone else alone. If I had been Sarah, I so would have pointed the spray gun at Terrance and painted him green.

I'm not sure why but I guessed it was going to be a nonelimination.

I think it's because of what rockphi said, the formula is just getting a little stale. I think almost everyone guessed it was a non-elim simply because they need to start throwing them in as the teams dwindle and it was about that time. At least it wasn't one of those scenarios where a team I can't stand comes in last only to be saved by the NEL.

I can't stand Kelly & Christy or Dan & Andrew and will be seriously annoyed if either team wins. Dan and Andrew are nothing but insecure whiners. Everytime they have the slightest difficulty with any task, they immediately start throwing out lame excuses to save face. And I can't figure out if they really are sexist, or if they just think it's funny to throw around sexist comments to prove what manly men they are. Either way? Asswipes!

Does anyone else find that years of watching reality tv has made them a little paranoid while watching the show? (Paranoid isn't quite the right word but it's Monday morning and my brain can't seem to find the correct word at the moment) I find that anytime the editors zoom in on something or add subtitles to anything, I immediately start thinking that it must be important. Like, last night, one of the ticket agents asked a team to double check the names on their tickets and they even put up subtitles so I figured that just had to be something important for later. Like maybe a team would have the wrong names or something on their ticket and have problems because of it. I don't know, it just seemed like such a random thing to show, I figured it had to be important. I really need to stop watching so much reality tv.

I thought the exact same thing. Why did they show it unless it meant something. Unless they had a second of air time to fill.

I remember in the first episode, they showed the candy trolleys and made a big deal about how you had to arrive with all your candy, so it seemed like someone would be in trouble for not having all of it. But nothing came of it. You're not alone, I see it a lot myself!

I was wondering how I would've handled that Detour myself -- choose the dull ironing, which no doubt would've been easier, or choose the ever-so-slightly-more-interesting staple bank notes to a necklace. If I ever were to run the race, it would surely be for an "amazing" experience, and none of the tasks were at all remarkable. "I had to figure out how to make a necklace with exactly 780 rupees using only 8 notes" is not a story to tell the grandkids. Hell, it's not even interesting enough for a math textbook.

Cripes, my original post got trashed. Oh well, let me try this again...

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who focused on the travel agent making the "correct name" comment. And it may be because I was working on a report for work while watching, but I totally didn't pick up on this being a NEL, so I was surprised that Ken/Tina made it through.

The TAR India eps are never boring to me. When the show's gone to this country it's usually been over 2 eps and the first one isn't necessarily as thrill-packed I guess. Next week looks like a doozy though.
It's fascinating to me how the India legs always see the disintergration of so many teams' nerves and sanity.

Re: The Detours - I definitely would've done the money necklace one. It just seemed like more fun and culturally stimulating. Although I was a little confused about how you were supposed to get the correct denominations of money. Phil's reading of the clue made it sound like you had to make the correct change at the wedding banquet venue. But the 2 teams got their money together before they even got there. And I guess neither Ken/Tina nor Terence/Sarah watch Bollywood movies - the guys that they were going up to and asking if they were the groom were CLEARLY not dressed as grooms. WTF?

I hate ironing with a passion when I'm using my fancy $50 iron, so I know I would hate it even more using a coal-heated one.

I officially don't care about any of these people. Alos, OMG, Starr and Dallas, the race is NOT Match.com!

When I realized that the teams were getting to Delhi in the late afternoon, I kept expecting them to run into a venue that would be closed, forcing some - if not all - teams to wait until the next day. So the episode was put together well in that respect; the trailing teams had only their own bad luck/skills to blame.
