Psst, tsl....it was Lady Bird Johnson who actually died last year.

I am so pissed I took Suharto off my list this year. I have absolutely no idea why I did that.

And whoever is doing the updates missed my stiffie for Georgia Frontiere. Which, um, puts me in the lead for the moment. I'm just sayin'.

First of all, thanks to the lovely Rachel for making me the Assistant (to the) Grim Reaper this year.

Just to let you know how it's working, if you're curious: I did a spreadsheet yesterday with all of the "nominations" and the people who chose them. I'm going to screen them all on a monthly basis (using deadoraliveinfo.com, Google, Wikipedia, and/or any other resources I need) and forward the information to Rachel. The first screening is scheduled for next weekend. So you will get points for Georgia Frontiere, Suharto, and whoever else has kicked the bucket - it just probably won't be instantaneous.

Stupid people who are supposed to be updating the site!

:::::whistling innocently:::::

It's fixed now.

Edited to add: Actually, today it is instantaneous. But Babalu is correct, updates usually won't happen right away.

I couldn't figure out why Jeff Conaway showed up on someones list...

Until I caught "Celebrity Rehab" yesterday. That show is like watching a really bad car wreck, and not in a good way.

I'm surprised Conaway isn't ALREADY dead.

Daggummit!

I felt like I had no stiffies last year, and I think I just missed the fact that she died. Oh well.

Earl L. Butz, who orchestrated a major change in federal farm policy as secretary of agriculture in the 1970s but came to be remembered more for a vulgar racial comment that brought about his resignation during the 1976 presidential election race, died Saturday in Kensington, Md.
