Which is why I liked him, I think. I thought he was a sweet guy who was wound too tight, but I think it's understandable to be wound too tight in TAR where 1 mil is on the line and you are constantly being tested.
The guys I don't like are the ones who aren't sweet underneath and make no effort to control themselves.

Posted: Fri Apr 06, 2007 9:24 amI liked Chip a lot during the season - and by his deeds since the race, I think he has confirmed my read on him as a gentlemanly patrician whose sharp business mind simply went a little overboard in the competitive atmosphere of racing. He had by far the most entertaining moments of the team, and can hold his head up high as one of the better racers.
As for Reichen - I didn't take to him to start with, and never really warmed to him as the season progressed. His subsequent famewhoring is ridiculous, but I think he has a good heart and means no real harm. But that strange waxy skin, sense of entitlement, monotone voice and somewhat artificial presence don't make the last half of TAR4 any easier to get through.

I wonder what they have to do to earn those things? And do they have pin trading stations at fancy restaurants like they have at Disney World?
Jokes aside, he must know what he's talking about when it comes to food, because he was seated directly next to the head judge, Tom Colicchio. :)
