I got the info via a Google News alert last weekend or Monday - forget which.
I cannot wait to see that, as the very boat that the teams reportedly took from Battambang to Siem Riep via Tonle Sap Lake was one I took in November! My entire time in Cambodia (including this boat trip which includes waterways so narrow tree branches go flying into the boat) I was thinking "This would be Awesome for the Amazing Race". Someone was listening! :) It turns out I missed them by five months :(

Re: ******TAR 13 SPOILERS******
I'm so sorry for any confusion, let me try to clarify.
I found out the information early, and I (not TARflies) elected to hold back the location of the finale until I was sure that it would be safe for the race and the racers.
And yes, the final site was leaked in a local paper last evening, thankfully not until after the race had ended.
Thanks guys for the feedback, and again, sorry for the confusion.

So based on a starting date of April 22 (as posted above), this was a really quick race - only 23 days.

IIRC, TAR 12 was about the same length of filmimg with the changed format (fewer NELs), so I assume TAR 13 will look similar to TAR 12.

Re: ******TAR 13 SPOILERS******
So; does anyone have the rough itenerary of locations that the Race visited?
I extracted Salvador, Brazil at the beginning as well as Cambodia towards the end from the posts at RFF; but I couldn't figure out what was in between because my computer doesn't seem to like navigating around the RFF forums...

Re: ******TAR 13 SPOILERS******
My friends have been living in Brazil for the last few months and this is an excerpt from her blog posted on April 26th:
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the reality TV show, The Amazing Race, it is a competition where people travel all over the world in a hectic rat race to come in first and win the big prize. I..m actually not all that familiar with the show myself but I..m pretty sure they were on my airplane.
This situation happened completely by chance. From Cordoba, we were to have a stop over in Porto Alegre another stop in Sao Paulo and then arrive in Salvador in the afternoon. Because of fog, the airport in Porto Alegre was closed, so we had to detour to Rio and from there, fly to Salvador, which was actually much more efficient and convenient.
At the airport in Rio, we noticed several film crews and people in teams of two, often wearing matching outfits. These two girls from Texas (according to their t-shirts anyway) were wearing matching black biker shorts, bright pink tank tops and a ton of make-up. I think the t-shirt was pretty accurate. Anyway, we noticed them being interviewed by the film crews, acting out dramatic situations and so-on. When it came time to board we talked to some of them and lent one of them our brazil book, although they didn..t give us many details about what they were doing. There was a delay in taking off and one team asked if they could move closer to the front. As soon as they did, all the other contestants tried to do the same. It was kind of annoying becuase I think it delayed our take-off even more. Anyway, at that point, we were pretty confident that if it wasn..t The Amazing Race, it was an amazing race of some sort.

Re: ******TAR 13 SPOILERS******
Well they have sightings in Bolivia, after Brasil.
And then from Cambodia it looks like they went to India - as one team spoke to someone at an airport asking them particular questions about India.
They were also spotted in Dubai - but noone is sure if they were just there for a flight change or for an actual leg.
And RFF also think they might have been in NZ. as there was Phi and potential team spottings.

Re: ******TAR 13 SPOILERS******
Just noticed this post on the Cambodia forum of Tripadvisor from May 6th
"Did anyone else see them filming for the amazing race at angkor wat on the 4th? I'm not sure what version it is but I saw the little stand where they put the next clue on the west side of the temple. (opposite the main entrance?) I opened it up, thinking it was some brochure and I saw it said "Amazing Race" before one of the production guys yelled at me.
Anyone know which version of the amazing race it is??"

A Toronto Star reporter ran into the Race in Moscow in May and there was an article about it in the paper:
Star article
Some spoiler nuts hunted her down (nobody here I think). I call them nuts in the most affectionate way possible as pot and kettle and all that.

RFF has a lot of spoiler info. Cambodia had a lot of sightings reports from tourists. The teams were sighted enroute back to Siem Reap from the Tonle Sap Lake.

From the article linked in the TAR 13 General Discussion Thread:
OMG. I guess that means the 4th place team really fucked up!
including a mistake that ultimately prohibited one team from joining their fellow racers at the finish line,
